畢業後的下一步 What to Do After Graduation

恭喜畢業！

境外學生畢業後通常需要處理三件事：

Congratulations on your graduation!

International students usually need to handle three things after graduation.

1. 延長居留證（ARC）Extend Your ARC
2. 處理健保（NHI） Arrange Your Health Insurance
3. 找工作與申請工作許可 Find a Job and Apply for a Work Permit

 

1. 申請居留證延期時程 Application Deadline for ARC Extension

• 領取畢業證書者： 請於「領取畢業證書後 14 天內」完成居留延期（覓職期）申請。

For graduates: You must apply for an ARC extension (Job-Seeking) within 14 days of receiving your diploma.

• 未領取畢業證書者： 國際處將於 8 月 15 日統一向移民署通報畢業，屆時原居留事由將失效，不得繼續在台灣工作或居留。

For those who haven't picked up the diploma: The OIA will report your graduation to the National Immigration Agency on August 15th. Upon reporting, your current residency status will become invalid, and you will no longer be permitted to reside or work in Taiwan.

2. 重要提醒 Important Reminders

• 不論居留證上的到期日為何，一旦畢業或經通報，您必須在 14 天內離境或變更居留事由。

Regardless of the expiration date on your ARC, once you graduate or are reported, you must leave Taiwan or change your residency status within 14 days.

• 畢業後： 學生工讀許可立即失效。

After graduation: Your student work permit becomes invalid immediately.

 

如果您希望留在台灣找工作，請申請 覓職期居留延期。

If you wish to stay in Taiwan to search for a job, you must apply for a Job-Seeking ARC Extension.

學校為學生投保的健保通常有效至The university-provided insurance usually lasts until:

畢業學期 Graduation Semester	健保有效期限 Coverage Until
春季畢業 Spring Graduation	8月31日 Aug 31
秋季畢業 Fall Graduation	2月28日 Feb 28

如果您申請覓職期 ARC 並留在台灣，請自行投保健保。

If you stay in Taiwan under a job-seeking ARC, you must enroll in NHI yourself.

您可以到 臨近區公所辦理。

You can apply at the local administrative office.

If you plan to work in Taiwan after graduation, follow this process:

Step 1：申請覓職期 ARC Apply for a Job-Seeking ARC Extension

Step 2：找到工作 Find a job

Step 3：雇主申請工作許可 Your employer applies for a Work Permit

Step 4：變更居留事由 Change ARC reason to Employment
