目前，針對僑外學生畢業後的留台申請，有兩種主要方式：(1) 延期居留 (2) 留台工作（評點制）：雇主需先完成工作證聘僱。

At present, there are two ways for overseas Chinese/foreign students to apply to stay in Taiwan after graduation: (1) Extension of residence (2) Work in Taiwan (Scoring Criteria): The employer must first complete the work permit employment process.

當僑外學生完成畢業後，學校會向移民署通報畢業資訊，並且自此時起，原本的居留證將不再有效。因此，請務必於獲得畢業證書後 14 天內，向移民署申請居留延期。

After overseas Chinese/foreign students graduate, the school will notify the immigration agency, and from this point on, the Alien Residence Certificate (ARC) will be invalid. Therefore, within 14 days of receiving your graduation certificate, you must apply for an extension of residence with the immigration agency.

Q2. 僑外畢業生有哪些方式可以申請工作證呢？
How can overseas Chinese/Foreign student graduates apply for a work permit?

僑外生可依以下兩種規定申請工作證：

There are two ways for overseas Chinese/foreign student graduates to apply for a work permit:

• (1) 依一般依薪資、工作經驗等條件申請 Apply based on wages and work experience
  基本上就是比照外籍專業人士在台工作的標準，你需要符合像是大學畢業後需具2年以上工作經驗，或具碩士以上學位，而外國人之受聘僱月平均薪資須達新台幣4萬7,971元。
  Basically, it is based on the standard of foreign professionals working in Taiwan. You need to meet the requirements of more than 2 years of work experience after graduating from university, or a master's degree or above, and the average monthly salary of foreigners employed must reach NT$47,971.
• (2) 依僑外生留臺工作評點新制申請 Apply by New Scoring Criteria for Foreign and Overseas Chinese Students to Work in Taiwan
  所謂的評點制，就是行政院在2014年7月1號開始，只要你是在台灣公立或經立案的私立大專以上的院校畢業的外籍生、僑生或其他華裔學生，都可以使用評點制申請。評點制只要你累積70點的分數，就可以符合申請資格，但另一個關鍵因素，就是公司也需要達標才能聘請外籍人士。
  As long as you are overseas Chinese/Foreign students who graduated from Taiwan University, you can apply. As long as you accumulate 70 points, you can qualify for the evaluation system, but another key factor is that companies also need to meet the standards to hire foreigners.

Q3. 工作許可一定要雇主幫忙申請？

是的，必須要先找到有公司願意聘請你、幫你提出工作證的申請，所以並不是只要符合70點就可以自行申請工作證，然後再來找工作，這樣是不行的唷！工作證必須要以公司的名義來向勞動部申請（若是公司準備好資料，再請你親自送件，這樣也是可以的）。

Q5. 畢業後找工作期間是否可以打工？
Can students work part-time during the job search period?

依據外國專業⼈才延攬及雇⽤法第12條：外國人取得我國副學士以上學位者，以應屆畢業生之身分依法取得內政部移民署許可延期居留期間，在我國從事工作，得免申請工作許可。

According to Article 12 of the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals, foreign nationals who have obtained an associate degree or higher in Taiwan and who, as new graduates, have legally received approval from the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior to extend their period of residence, may engage in employment in Taiwan during the extended residence period without the need to apply for a work permit.

Q6. 畢業後健保要如何處理？
How should health insurance be handled after graduation?

應屆畢業生健保，學校只投保到畢業為止。因此畢業後要由你到健保署或居住地附近的區公所自行加保。如果沒有去辦理的話，在你找到工作，公司開始投保後， 健保署就會發現之前有欠費，也會發出追繳單，所以還是需要補繳。

如果在沒有繳健保費的空窗期去看醫生，是需要先全額付款，等之後繳清健保費後，再拿醫院收據回去原本的醫院/診所申請退費。

For new graduates, student National Health Insurance (NHI) coverage provided by the school only lasts until graduation. After graduation, you must enroll in NHI on your own at the National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA) or at the district office near your place of residence.

If you do not complete the enrollment, once you find a job and your employer begins enrolling you in NHI, the NHIA will identify any unpaid premiums from the previous period. Late fees may also be imposed, and a bill for the outstanding amount will be issued. Therefore, you will still be required to pay the missed premiums and any applicable penalties.

If you visit a doctor during a gap period in which NHI premiums have not been paid, you will be required to pay the full medical cost upfront. After you have paid all outstanding NHI premiums, you may return to the original hospital or clinic with your receipts to apply for reimbursement.

Q6. 居住地有更新要如何處理？

若畢業後需要申請留台，需向移民署更新住址。所需文件包括：
